Round 8: Acid Test 2

As the results below show, this is a pretty painful test for the IE7 beta. The Acid Test 2 is designed by the folks at webstandards.org to push the limits of HTML, CSS, and PNG support in browsers. As of writing, Apple’s Safari [Safari is based on the Konqueror code base, ed.] and the open source browser Konqueror are the only browsers to correctly render this page.

Now, to be fair, the Firefox 1.5 beta 1 also fails the acid test. Maybe not quite as painful as IE7, but it isn’t pretty either.
